creating pages for terms such as "map" or "travel"[]

I don't know whether we should create pages like these. Maybe just get rid of the hyperlinks? Whitesymphonia 15:23, September 4, 2010 (UTC)

  • Traveling to various places is explained in the tutorial, which means it's non-trivial. Maybe a moving around or movement page instead of separate pages. We do need to explain how one moves squads around the map and other things like what the increased speed skill really does, practically. Kodemage 20:12, September 4, 2010 (UTC)
  • I agree with Kodemage, although the amount of linking is excessive. Topics should be linked once per page, not every time it is used. Brendang 21:11, September 4, 2010 (UTC)
  • well maybe link more than once if the article is pretty long. so, anyone wanna do these links? Whitesymphonia 22:52, September 4, 2010 (UTC)
  • I'm fairly sure that Kodemage has volunteered. Brendang 04:19, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
  • Wait, what did I volunteer to do now? I was a wikipedian in the early days and I've found that the best policy is to wikify everything that can be wikified and then if there isn't a link to it a couple months later remove the links. Every in game term should have a page, yeah some of them will be short but as the game grows in complexity so will the wiki. Kodemage 20:29, September 10, 2010 (UTC)

Scavenging Changes[]

With the last major patch I've noticed some changes to the way scavenging works. It looks like my scavenger is losing 1 or 2 fatigue from scavenging instead of the previous 3. This started happening right after I spent like 1400 points in her skills so maybe I triggered something, I do not know. Has anyone else noticed that scavenging is much easier? Kodemage 20:46, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

it's changed so the fatigue cost varies depending on the lootability and difficulty. So, if the lootability goes down, it costs even more fatigue to search. like lvl 8 diff. places could drain +8 fatigue when it's got 1 loot node left. Whitesymphonia 23:35, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
ok, we need to explain how that works and how it's calculated. I was recently scavenging a place with 7 difficulty and I went from 10 lootability to 0 lootability and the last searches cost 5 fatigue each. The first scavenge was 1 fatigue. Kodemage 04:07, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
