Airports were one of the first places people fled when the dead began to walk, seeking to flee their hometowns for safety. The trouble was, there was nowhere safe to go. Families brought with them basic supplies including food and drink, however none of these were allowed on the airplanes by the Transportation Security Administration. Because of this the airports' security checkpoints are great places for survivors to scavenge Food and Liquids , along with some basic melee Weapons .
As the walking dead overwhelmed the Airports, security guards where overwhelmed leaving behind small numbers of Firearms and Ammunition .
Airports are vast, but supplies are usually in the open and not behind locked doors, so they have moderate scavenging difficulty.
